Offshore Cargo Basket Put into Service, Enhancing Efficiency of Offshore Engineering Logistics

The offshore cargo basket, compliant with DNV 2.7-1 and ISO 10855 standards, has officially been deployed for material transfer tasks at oil and gas platforms in the South China Sea.

Fabricated from offshore-grade weathering steel and treated with hot-dip galvanizing for corrosion protection, this cargo basket is capable of withstanding harsh marine conditions such as salt spray and low temperatures. With a maximum single-basket load capacity of 14.5 tons, it is suitable for transporting various types of offshore engineering supplies including pipelines, tools and spare parts. Its stackable design optimizes deck space utilization. The interior is equipped with multi-point lashing devices and optional safety nets to prevent cargo displacement and falling during transfer. Combined with certified slings and lifting lugs, it is compatible with platform cranes for rapid lifting and transportation.
